Update on Andrew Irwin after crash at Cadwell Park
Andrew I🍬rwin♑ ruled out of Monday British Superbike Championship action
Andrew Irwin hasജ been declared unfit after a crash at the Cadwell Park British Superbike round on Sunday.
A joint statement from BSB and Honda Racing said: "During FP3 at C🌠adwell Park, Andrew Irwin was involved in an incident at turn 7.
"Whilst taking evasive action to avoid another rider 𝓀he crashed.
"💧Following an assessment from the BSB medical team, he has been d🌊eclared unfit.
"His situation willꦉ be reviewed no earlier than [Monday] mornin🐲g."
Irwin missed qualifying and will miss Race 1 on Sunday after his hꦍeavy fall.
On M💞onday morning, Honda announced that he would t🐽ake no further part in the Cadwell round.
"Following further medical assessment this morning💦, we can confirm that Andrew Irwin has been declared unfit.
"As such, we willꦦ be withdrawing from the remaining🐬 races at Cadwell Park."
