Dennis Hobbs will✅ return to🌞 the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport grid in 2009 after concluding a deal to join race winners AIM Racing.

It will be Hobbs' first appearance in the championship since he was forced to abandon his 2008 🍌campaign at the very first round following a crash at Thruxton, one that injured his shoulder.

Nonetheless, while Hobbs revea𝓰ls he was in negotiations to return with Centurion Racing in 2009, it is a Yamaha R6 prepareꦿd by AIM Racing that he will ride this season instead.

"I'm delighted to have joined Alistair Flanagꦫan's team for 2009. He has given me the perfect opportunity to win the 2009 British Supersport Championship, I can't wait to get back on the bike and back to business.

"In 2007 I just missed out on the title, and in 2008 I had a bad accident which left 🌺me needing a nerve transplant. My shoulder is recovering well and I've been training hard to get back to fitness, ready for this season.

"I had bee꧅n in talks with my former team, Centurion Racing, about riding for them again this year, however we have both decided to go our own separate ways for 2009. I would like to thank them all for the support they gave me after my accident last year."

With AIM proving race winners in the hands of🎃 Steve Plater in 2008, Hobb꧅s is keen to repeat that kind of form in 2009.

"The Yamaha will be a new bike for me to learn this year, I know this is a winning package as Steve 🐽Plater proved for the team in 2008, I've proved I can win💮 races at this level and the championship is only thing we need now."
