Loris Baz's hopes of returning to the MCE British Superbike Championship this season have been dealt a blow after encountering🎉 ongoing issues between his spo💛nsor and his former Motorpoint Yamaha team.

The Frenchman was forced to cede his ride with the Rob Mac Racing team ahead of the Brands✱ Hatch round after running into financial difficulties, but had hopes of returning before the year was out.

However, having taken to his Twitter account to 👍reveal he had some 'good news to come', he updated to say a 'financial problem' was stopping him from comin♓g back.

"I think my last good news will not come, due to🍰 the financial problem between my sponsor and my ex-team Motorpoint Yamaha. I cannot race in England anymore this season until tℱhis is sorted!"

Baz was enjoying a solid first full season with🥃 Motorpoint Yamaha and was in outside contention for a top six shootout berth before being forced to curtail his campaign. His best BSB result was a fourth place finish at Croft.
