2017 British Superbike runners-up TAG Racing have secured a one-year contract extension to ꩲretain Anvil Hire Limited as its title sponsor foᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚr the upcoming 2018 season.

After missing out on the BSB riders’ title by just three points with Josh Brookes last year, the Anvil Hir𒈔e TAG Racing team returns to action in 2018 with a refreshed rider line-up of James Ellison and Shaun Winfield with former BSB star Chris Walker taking holding a rider coach role at the team.

The new deal sees Anvil Hire continue as t൲he team’s principal backers for a fifth consecutive year and provides the team with a tweaked but familiar yellow and black retro livery to its Yamaha YZF-R1 machin🐻es.

“We’re de♛lighted to welcome back our great friends and partners from Anvil Hire once again for 2018 as title sponsors,” Rob Winfield, team owner, said. “As a team we’ve enjoyed four fantastic seasons with them, culminating in almost winning the Championship for them in 2017.

“2018 is again a big year for us, it’s important thatಌ we kick on from our success last season. We’ll keep our feet firmly on the ground, go about our work quietly and continue to impress. Who knows, the🌳 small team from Swadlincote may just throw in another surprise once again.”

The team will conclude their winter testing programme with a one-day test at Donington Park on Wednesday March 14^th before heading back a week later for the official Bennetts British Superbike Championship test day on Tuesday March 20^th.
