Gearlink Kawasaki’s new and exciting rider pairing of Ben Currie and Eunan Mcglinchey got their British Supersport pre-season testing off to a good start during the recent Silverstone and Snetterton outings. ๊;

Both riders finished the Silverstone and Snetterton tests inside the🌄 top ten, with Currie taking a best finish of fourth at Silverstone, before finishing P6 a week later 🍒at Snetterton. 

The Norfolk based circuit - known for high winds, stayed true to form with the added addition of rain mea꧃ning it was somewhat of a wasted opportunity. 

But speaking after both outings, Currie was happy to be back on the Kawasaki bike saying: "Awesome to finally get out on the official test onboard the Gearlink Kawasaki 600. Great to have the team back together again after a long winter and it's fa﷽ntastic to see how well we are all working together again, pickling up right from where we left off.

"It’s also ✃really great to see Eunan McGlinchey on the other side of the garage with me, it was quite a nice atmosphere in the garage today which is really good.

"The testing went really well, althoඣugh we are not on our full race bike for this year we can be really happy with the position we are in at the end of🃏 the day. 

"P4 is a really great finish, I feel comfortable on the bike and I feel really strong with all the work I have done over the off season. Now I am just looking forward to 𝕴ticking these tests off and getting to round one."

Currie has years of experience in the British Supersport seri🍬es with a best finish of second in the championshಞip to Jack Kennedy coming in 2018.

Fo𒅌r team-mate Mcglinc🌃hey, the Northern Irishman makes a return to the BSB paddock after competing in World Supersport 300 last year. 

"Silverstone was my first time te✨sting the new bike for this season, and the first time meeting the team, so there were a lot of new parts🧸 when it came to these first few tests," added Mcglinchey.  

"Silverstone was all about just getting everything comfortable on the bike, and actually just going out and enjoying myself. No pre🐽ssure for times, nothing like that. We left Silverstone relaxed, and started to adapt to the bike.

"From there it was onto Snetterton, and yet again there was no pre꧒ssure for lap times from the team. It was just a test to have the bike feeling g꧙ood for myself and to keep chipping away and making it feel like my bike. 

"We didn’t get much testing over the two days, only getting two sessions 🥀in. But in those sessions we learnt a🍎 lot about the bike and we are getting more and more comfortable each time."
