The team, which was established mid-season following a split within the Tempus Sport team, has been running a single Chevrolet Lacetti for Harry Vaulkhཧard t🐼his year.
Nonetheless, team principal Richard Coleman confirmed bamboo engineering has acquired a second machine from RML, which has been preparing Jason 🐬Plato, Mat Jackson and James Nash's race-winning cars this year.
With front runners Racing Silverline tipped to switch to the new Chevrolet Cruze next season, Coleman is excited about the prospect of potentially being the only team to run a pair of Lacettis in 20ꦉ10.
"We're very excited to have secured this deal with RML," said Coleman. "At the moment the Lacetti is the car to have and I'm sure that will📖 still be the case next year. There is a very strong possibility that bamboo engineering will be the only team running the Lacettis next year, which we hope will put us in strong position in for next season.
"We'll be working very hard now to secure a top line driver to race alongside Harry Vaulkhard who has already signed to race with us next yea🥂r. We still consider Harry to be one of the best up-and-coming drivers in the championship and a strong team-mate alongside would help Harry's development as a driver.
"We are also very♛ pleased to continue our long standing working relationship with RML and the Chevrolet brand who have given bamboo engineeri𝄹ng their full support this season".
RML's Mark Busfield was also delighted to see the Lacetti getting a new lease of life on the national scene, some five years after it made its racing debut in the World Touꦏring Car Championship.
"This is great news for RML and the BTCC. bamboo has worked closely with us this year and it has been encouraging to see the pace of Harry at a number of e🔯vents this year. The Lacetti has been recognised as the front running car at the last two events and going into 2010 it's a package that's ready to go and be very competitive."
