Gareth Howell has been reprimanded for the incident that saw Adam Jones crash out of the final meeting𝓰 of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championshi𒀰p at Silverstone.
BTCC officials deemed that Jones' season ending incident during the second free ꦬpractice session had occurred due to contact with Howell's Team Halfords Honda Integra, with Howell given two penalty points on 🌼his licence as a result.
However he will remai🍬n on pole position for the first of Sunday's three races, when he will hope to repeat his victory from Silverstone twelve months ago.
