Contesting a layout that remains almost unchanged today, the race was won by New Zealand's Denny Hulme, but was tainted by the tragic death of Ferrari's Lorenzo Baldini. The race was also contested by the late Sir Jack Brabham, who sadly passed away this week, aged 𝐆88.
