Michael Schumacher has launch🐽ed another attack on Pirelli's 2012 F1 tyres, saying that drivers are being forced to drive 'like we're on raw eggs'.

The Mercedes driver was vocal in his criticism of the tyres following the Bahrain Grand Prix last month, with Pirelli understandably failing to agree with the German's viewpoint after the Sakhir race [See separate story - HERE].

Schumacher has now hit out at Pirelli again in an interview with CNN as, when questioned about why F1 has been so competitive this season with four diffe✨rent winners in as many races, he again raised the issue of tyres and the impact they have had on the racing.

"I just think they are playing much too big an effect, because they are so peaky and so special that we don't put the ca🧸rs or ours𓂃elves to the limit," he said. "We drive like we're on raw eggs and don't want to stress the tyres at all otherwise you just overdo it and you go nowhere."

Despite the criticism, Schumacher said he felt positive about the progress being 🐟made by Mercedes this season, with Nico Rosberg having carrওied the team to its first victory in the modern era in Shanghai.

"We have luckily got one win under our be🌳lt," he said. "I was a bit unlucky in that race as we could have got a 1-2 without doubt, but it proves that we have made a huge step because you have to consider where we came from last year - it was not what we were really looking for.

"Starting the Silver Arrows new generation, for two y൩ears we had med🧸ium success and finally we managed a victory. I am pretty sure we can have other good races this year - being on the podium and maybe being on top of the podium."
