The F1 Strategy Group approved the int🧜roduction of H✤alo for 2018 in July, with the World Motor Sport Council rubber-stamping the decision at its latest meeting in Paris this week.
In the announcements made by the FIA on Thursday, the crash test details for Halo were confi﷽rmed via the technical regulations, allowing teams to🤡 finalise their chassis designs for next season.

In other rule updates for 2018, there will be a clampdown on oil burn followi🎶ng the controversy invoܫlving Mercedes and Ferrari this season, while the aerodynamic rules are also still in place to ban the ‘shark fin’.
T🍰he reduc💜tion in the permitted number of power unit elements for 2018 also remains in place, with teams permitted to use just three internal combustion engines, three MGU-Hs, three turbochargers, two control electronics and two MGU-Ks per season, down from four for each element in 2017.
