Chase Carey defends F1, calls Formula E 'more of a street party'
Formula 1 CEO and chairman Chase Carey has hit back at comment🌃s by Formula E boss Alejandro Agag that the all-electric series will be the only viable form of motorsport in 🌠20 years' time, likening the championship to "more of a street party".
Formula E has enjoyed rapid growth since hitting the track 🃏for the first time in 2014, boasting more manufacturer inter༺est than F1 through the likes of Renault, Audi, Jaguar, BMW, and, as of 2019, Porsche and Mercedes.
