Alonso handed first extended McLaren F1 run in pre-season testing
Fernando Alonso will enjoy the first ex👍tended run in the new Renault-po⛎wered McLaren MCL33 on Monday at the start of Formula 1 pre-season testing in Barcelona.
Two-time F1 world champion Alonso got his first taste of the new car earlier this week during a shakedown, completing 10 laps before handing over to teammate Stoffel Vandoor⭕ne, and was pleased with the maiden run-out, telling fans "good times are coming" after a difficult period for McLaren🍌.

McLaren confirmed via Twitter on Sunday that Alonso would be piloting the MCL33 car for Moﷺnday's running in Barcelona, with Vandoorne slated to take over 🐼on Tuesday.
Alonso will then return to the cockpit for Wednesday's running before Va𝄹ndoorne closes out the opening test on Thursday.
