Daniel Ricciardo hopes to “turn things around” at the upcoming German Grand Prix following a difficult run d🙈uring Formula 1’s first-ever triple header of races. 

The Red Bull driver finished fourth in France, before being forced into retirement at his team’s home race in Austria and taking fift𒀰h at Silverstone. 

In contrast, teammate Max Verstappen made two podium appearances, claiming second place at Paul Ricard, before going one better to record his🌳 first win of the campaign in Spielberg. 

Ricciard🌊o has claimed two victories already in 2018 - charging through to first place following a brilliant strategy in China, while he enjoyed a dominant weekend in Monaco - and is looking to replicate similar performances before F1’s summer break. 

“It’s good to have a bit of a break after thꦦe triple header as things haven’t quite gone my way over the last three races, but I’m looking forward to getting back on track and to things turning around in Germany and Hungary,” Ricciardo🤡 said. 

“Hockenheim is a fun circuit and I’ve always enjoyed going there. My highligh💙t is probably the battle I had there with Alonso in 2014 which I loved. 

"Turn 1 is super-fast and the track is good for overtaking. The stadium section is also fast with a big bol💞d left hander. Al🅠l round it’s a good track and one I’ve always gone well on and enjoyed.”

Red Bull claimed a double podium finish behind race-winner Lewis Hamilton the last time the Germꦚan Grand Prix wa🎶s held at Hockenheim in 2016, before it was absent from the calendar last year. 

"The German Grand Prix is back on the calendar and I’m looking forward to it,” Verstappen added. “I’m s🌺ure quite a few Dutch fans will also come over and visit the track to support me. At the last German Grand Prix we had a doubl𒈔e podium, so that is of course a good memory.”
