Ferrari duo Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen have opted for more of the softest 🍸option tyres available for the Hungarian Grand Prix compared to front-running rivals Mercedes and Red Bull.

The Formula 1 world championship leader, winner in Hungary for two of the previous three seasons, has selected nine sets of Pirelli’s Ultr🔯asoft tyres, one more than Ferrari team-mate Raikkonen’s eight sets of the softest compound on offer.

Only Ren༺ault pair Carlosꦫ Sainz and Nico Hulkenberg have picked more than Vettel with 10 sets each of the purple-banded tyres.

Both the Me🌠rcedes and Red Bull drivers have all opted for seven sets of the Ultrasofts, with Lewis Hamilton taking the most yellow-banded soft tyres with five sets one more than team-mate Valtteri Bottas and Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo and Max Ver🌄stappen (all with four).

The Hungarian Grand Prix runs back-to-back with✅ this weekend’s German GP on July 27-29 at the Hungaroring, acting as F1’s final race before the August summer break.
