McLaren sets up Middle East esports association

After the launch of McLaren’s esports programme, the Sha🦩dow Project, the F1 squad has partnered up with TIG Holdings and MPA Creative to pr🏅omote the initiative across the Arabian gulf region.

The initiative is the first Arabic language esports competition and will hand a gulf region national the opportunity to compete in the worldwide finals at McLaren’s Woking headquarters in J꧒anuary 2019.

After the launch of McLaren’s esports programme, the Shadow Project, the F1 squad has partnered up with TIG Holdin💙gs and MPA Creative to promote the initiative across the Arabian gulf region.

The initiative is the first Arabඣic language esports competition and will ha🐷nd a gulf region national the opportunity to compete in the worldwide finals at McLaren’s Woking headquarters in January 2019.

The aim is to identify and develop potential talent from the region alongside a week-long public event at the Seef Mal⛦l in Bahrain as well as increase road safety awareness in the region.

“This is a hugely exciting extension of the Shadow Project and we are delighted to be able to announce this partnership with TIG Holdings to engage with esports fans and competitors across the region,” Ben Payn𝓡e, McLaren director of esports, said. “As a company, McLaren has very close ties with the region and Bahrain in particular.

“To be able to welcome entrants from across the region and feature a champion at our world finals is a real boost for the ♈McLaren Sh♕adow Project.”
