Monaco to host F1, Formula E and Historic GP in 2021

The date for the 2021 Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix has been set as the Automobile Club de Monaco announces it will hold all three of its motorsport events within a monܫth.

Monaco will run the Historic Grand Prix and Formula E races alongside its F1 round over a five-week spell next year, with the H🏅istoric GP taking place from April 23-25, the Monaco E-Prix on May 8 and the Monaco Grand Prix across May 20-23.

The date for the 20🎃21 Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix has been set as the Automobile Club de Monaco announces it will hold all three of its motorsport events within a month.

Monaco will run the Historic Grand Prix and Formula E races alongside its F1 round over a five-week spell next year, with the His🎉toric GP taking place from April 23-25, the Monaco E-Prix on May 8 and the Monaco Grand Prix across ꦜMay 20-23.

The prꦰincipality usually alternatives the Historic GP and Formula E races but the forced cancellation of the Monaco and Historic GPs due to the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in an unprecedented schedule.

The Monaco Grand Prix had originally been planned for this weekend but was called off, mea🐼ning 2020 will mark the first year ♈F1’s blue riband race has not taken place since 1954.

“To organise three races in the space of one month will be a p🍰remiere for us all at ACM,” said the body’s general commissioner, Christian Tornatore.

“The logistical side promises to be complex, but not impossible to♑ manage.

“Because of the new constraints, we shall need to sta♊rt setting up the track earlier than usual, at the end of F෴ebruary, instead of March 15.

“We will then integrate the technical aspects, o😼n an🀅d around the track, required by every category that will be involved.

“In order to achieve thi🃏s, we will count on the experience and flexibility of all the persons involved, in order to achieve our objectives.”

The ACM confirmed the Historic GP will run again in 2022 befor🔜e returning to its traditional biennial status.
