The Racing Point Formula 1 team has been reprimanded over the continued us🏅e of its controversial rear brake ducts during the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix.

Racing Point were docked 15 constructors’ championship points and fined €400,000 for breaching F1’s sporting regulations because the principle designer was Mercedes 💟and not Racing Point.

The Silverstone-based ou🗹tfit is being allowed to continue using the brake ducts as they are legal from the view of the technical reꦛgulations.

The FIA noted that Racing Point had used the same design yet again ༺during Sunday’s 70th Anniversary Grand Prix at Silverston🎉e and subsequently summoned the team before the stewards.

A team representative was called to see the stewards following a strong double points haul for Racing Point, w♊ith Lance Stroll heading teammate Nico Hulkenberg home in sixth place🅷.

Racing Point was handed another reprimand for continuing to use its disputed brake duct design as they break the sportin♔g regulations, adding to the reprimands they were given after the Styrian, Hungarian and British Grands Prix.

“The stewards of the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix believe that is important for the orderly con🦩duct of the sport that the interpretation of the regulations by the stewards be reasonably consistent,” the stewards said in a statement.

“The stewards therefore join the decision of the special panﷺel of stewards and incorporate herein by refer💯ence, their findings of fact, reasoning and the reasoning behind their choice of penalties.

“This present decision꧋ should be read as entir🍬ely consistent with and drawing the same conclusions as Decision Document four (incl. Doc. five) of the special panel.

“The Stewards therefore find that BWT Racing Point F1 Team is in breach of appendix six of the 2020 FIA F1 Spoꩵrting Regulations and order a Reprimand for the Team, operating car 18 and car 27.”
