F1 Italian GP red-flagged due to big Leclerc crash
The ♐Italian Grand Prix has been red-flagged due to a big crash for Charles Leclerc, as Ferrari failed to finish its home Formula 1 race.
Leclerc lost control of his SF1000 at the high-🔜speed Parabolica and speared into the barriers🦄 on the exit of the corners after his car snapped.
The impact caused extensive damage to Leclerc’s c♌ar and also damaged the tyre barriers, resulting in the race being stopped after 27 laps of running of the 53 scheduled.
Leclerc walked away from the incident unscathed but joined his teammate Sebastian Vettel on the sidelines as Ferrari recorded a doubl𒁏e DNF at Monza.
Ferrari has since confirmed that Leclerc has been cleared and release𝔍d from the medical centre following his crash.
Vettel suffered a brake failure at Turn 1 and ran straight on at the f♛irst corner, before peeling🥂 into the pits and into retirement.
It is the first time the Italian ⛄Grand Prix h🥂as been red-flagged since 1995.
