Ferrari has readied further upgrades for its Formula 1 car which it will introduce at this weekend’s Eifel Grand Prix at the Nurb💮urgring.

Following a torrid 2020 campaign so far, Ferrari is seeking a substantial performance increase and will bring more updates to its SF1000 after 𒐪introducing a number of small upgrades in Russia.

Ferrari enjoyed a more encouraging weekend in Sochi as Charles Leclerc recorded the teamℱ’s best result in five races with sixth-place, with the Scuderia bouncing back from tough races outside of the points at Spa-Francorchamps, Monza and Mugello.

Ferrari’s upgrades in Russia included a revised rear-wing endplate and changes to the nose cap and turning vanes.ꦕ Speaking after the race, Leclerc hinted that more parts would be coming

"Driving-wise, it's not like we felt a biꦇgಞ difference," Leclerc explained.

"But the data says that it's a small gain, which is what we expecte✃d, so this is already positive.

"Now I'm looking forward💮 to the next race where normally we'll have something a bit bigger."

Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto confirmed that upgrades would be brought to the Nurburgring, before shifting focus onto work to ꦦimprove the difꦺfuser.

“𝓰As Charles said, we'll have a few more upgrades in Nurburgring,🎃 but again not major,” Binotto said.

“But still for us, I think it’s important considering the level of competitiveness. [The upgrades] will focus mainly on the diffuser for the remaining part of the season.”

Binot🐭to also downplayed the impact of Ferrari’s upgrades at Sochi and does not believe that is solely the reason for the t🧔eam’s positive performance.

“I don't think it's down to the upgrades... that's not the reason,” he added. “It's track characteristics, so let's hope that ♕we've found again some competitiveness tha♏t gives the opportunity for the two drivers to compete for a better position in the future.

“We brought some new bits, it's not a big step forward, not yet sufficient🍃, we're fully aware, but important to go in the right direction for at least the remainder of the season.”
