Williams F1 Team has announced it will attempt to🌌 complete 100 F1 pit stops across the Portuguese Grand Prix weekend in honour of Captain Tom Moore’s 100 challenge.

In ෴April 2020, Moore famously completed 100 laps of his garden in a bid to raise £1000 for NHS Charities Together.

Moore’s efforts captured the na🎀tion’s attention and he raised £38.9 million in tota📖l.

He was knighted for hiꦫs efforts but sadly𓄧 passed away aged 100 in February.

In his honour, Williams will attempt 100 pit stops across the weekend at Po✱rtimao to mark what would have been his 101st birthday on April 30.

The Grove-based outfit will be taking �𒆙�part in this challenge so it can raise awareness for its official charity - Spinal Injuries Association (SIA).

S🙈IA is a charity that supports people living with spinal cord injury in𝓰 the United Kingdom.

Speaking of the announcement, CEO Jost Capito said: “Captain Sir Tom Moore inspired millions aro🍨und the world, with his simple message of hope, “Tomorrow will be a good day” and brought comfort and joy to so many around the world during the pandemic.&nbs🍎p;

“It has been a challenging time for ev🅰eryone and still is, and we want to take this opportunity to do something in his memory, whilst also raising money for a very worthy cause. 

“As a team, we take great pride in our pitstops, so this is a great challenge for the team both trackside and at the factory to come together to♑ accomplish, and we’re༺ looking forward to it.”
