FIRST LOOK: Onboard F1 sim lap of new Miami Grand Prix circuit

Ahead of Formula 1’s first-ever Miami Grand Prix next year, the promoters of the race ha𝓡ve released a simulated onboard lap around the new Hard Rock Stadium Circuit.
Last week F1 confirmed the inclusion of a s💦econd grand prix in the United States for the 2022 season as part of a 10-year deal to hold a race✤ in Miami following a number 🔯of delays to the project.
While an official date is yet to be confirmed for the inaugural Miami Gr𒀰and Prix, the race is set to be held in the second quarter of 2022, according to F1 CEO and president Stefano Domenicali.
A brand new 5.41-kilometre track is being built in Miami Gardens that will run around the Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins NFL⛄ franchise.
The anti-clockwise ꦆlayout will feature 19 turns and have up to three DRS zones, allowing for top speeds of around 320kph (199mph).
Miami Grand Prix managing partner Tom Garfinkel said the “first prioritಞy was creating a great racing circuit for the drive♏rs, for the fans, with multiple passing opportunities.
“ꦏWe want to create an environment where people are blown away when they get there, and I think starting with sor༒t of a blank sheet of paper, to design a circuit with the designers and F1 and the FIA that has a lot of passing opportunities,” he added.
"There’s going to be vistas really from the stadium which sits at the centre of the circuit,🐻 you can walk around the top deck of the stadium and see every turn on the race track, a pretty unique opportunity.
“The infrastruc♈ture we have in place, the club spaces, the things we can take advantage of in and around the campus, it’s going to be beautiful.”
You can check out the simulated 🎶on-board lap of the new venue featuring a 2022-spec F1 car using the Assetto Corsa game below.
