Pierre Gasly remains at Alpine for a third🌳 consecutive F1 campaign in 2025.
After a slow start to the season for Alpine, Gasl𒊎y’s performances were elevated by the French manufacturer’s late-season improvement. Alongside Esteban Ocon, the pair both finished on the podium at the São Paulo Grand Prix, propelling them up to sixth in the constructors’ standings.
Gasly has r🍰ebuilt ♋his F1 career since leaving Red Bull in the middle of 2019. The Frenchman was promoted to the main team after a strong 18-month stint at Toro Rosso.
However, rumours of Gasly having a⛎ fall-out with Adrian Newey, combined with his abysmal on-track displays, meant he was switched with Alex Albon for the remainder of 2019.
Gasly flourished at AlphaTauri, taking a shock win at t🌄he 2020 Italian Grand Prix ahead of Carlos Sainz. He also enjoyed a fine 2021 campa♛ign, finishing on the podium in Azerbaijan.
Despite his strong performances, Red Bull refused to give him a second opportunity at the s𝓀eni🃏or team, sticking with Sergio Pérez despite the Mexican’s inconsistent run of performances.
Gasly opted to join Alpine after a seat opened up following the Oscar Piastri contract fiasco. The 28-year-old slowly gained momentum at Alpine, with the team appearing to faཧvour him over Esteban Ocon, who decided t💫o leave for Haas in 2025.
