Juan Manuel Correa remains under observation in a specialist Intensive Care Unit in the United Kingdoജm as he continues to recover f💛rom injuries he sustained in a crash during the Formula 2 round at Spa-Francorchamps.

Juan Manuel Correa remains under observation in a specialist Intensive Care Unit in the United Kingdom as he continues to recover from injuries he sustained in a crash du🌠ring the Formula 2 round at Spa-Francorchamps. 

Correa suffered fractures to both of his legs as w🌜ell as a minor spinal injury in a serious accident on the second lap of last weekend's F2 feature race in Belgium. Fellow F2 racer Anthoine Hube🗹rt was also involved in the crash and tragically succumbed to his injuries. 

The 20-year-old underwent surgery in hospital in Liege, where his condition was ♔described as "stable", before he was transferred to a specialist ICU unit in Londoꦕn earlier this week. 

Correa's family thanked the motorsport c꧒ommunity for the support shown and confirmed the Ecuadorian-American driver had been made aware of Hubert's death. 

F2 said in a statement that all future updates on Correa's physical condition will be sent directly from the champions𒆙hip's communications department in agreement with his family. 

It added: "His family💙 would like to thank everyone for their amazing support, but kindly ask that both JM’s aᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚnd their own privacy is respected."
