Pourchaire, Fittipaldi ‘conscious’, taken to hospital after F2 start crash

The race was suspended after a matter of seconds following a serious accident involving ART Grand Prix driver Pourchaire and Charouz Racing System’s Fittipaldi, the g🌊randson of two-time F1 world champion Emerson.
Pourchaire had failed to get off the line after sﷺtalling on the grid and was hit at high-speed by the unsight♛ed Fittipaldi, resulting in a terrifying crash on the main straight.
Both Pourchaire and Fittipal𝔉di were attended to by medical crews and have since been transferred by ambulance and helicopter respectively to a loc🎶al hospital.
An update from the FIA confirmed that both drivers were “c🔯onscious” following the accident.
⛎“The drivers were immediately attended to by emergency aཧnd medical crews,” an FIA statement read.
“The drivers were consci♌ous and extricat♚ed by the attending medical crews. Both have been transferred by ambulance and helicopter to King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital, Jeddah.”
The heavily-delayed race restarted following a lengthy suspension but was cut short by a red-flag inducing crash involving Olli Ca𓄧ldwell and Guilherme 𓆉Samaia. Both drivers were not injured in the incident.
Championship leader Oscar Piastri was declared the winner to put him on the brink on w🔯inning the F2 title i🌌n his rookie season.
