Formula 3 rookie Piscopo has no points to his name this season so far and prior to the💝 qualifying session, had qualified no higher than 13th. Nonetheless, after a strong performance in the Formula 3 Masters at Zolder when he finished sixth, the Italian is feeling more confident than ever.
"I am really happy with my second place," he said. "Since Zolder, I am really feeling comfortable in the car and it is getting better all the time. Now, I hope that I can score my fir♉st points on Saturday."
Buemi too was content with his starting position, not least because it p♚laced him just ahead of fifth place arch-ri💦val Romain Grosjean on the the grid.
"It was too cold and I had problems getting the tyres to the right temperature. It is important for me to finish ahead of Romain Grosjea🅷n in tomorrow's race, because that will allow me to make up some points on him in the overall standings."
