The Russian driver will compete in 🔯F3 for a third season, making the move to the Dutch outfit after t💧wo years with ART Grand Prix.

After finishing 11th in his rookie season, Smolyar en꧂joyed a strong second campaign, finishing sixth overall with two victories to his name.

With Smolyar likely to beꦏ one of the most experienced drivers💦 on the grid, a title push is likely going to be the main aim for him in 2022.

“I’m delighted to team up with MP Motorsport for another season in FIA F3,” Smolyar said. “Last year, I fought many duels with 𝄹MP’s cars as they challenged for the podium finishes that I was aiming to achieve as well, and now we’re together, hoping to take as many wins as we possibly cꦦan.

“We’ll be preparing ourselves to the maximum before we hit the road for testing and the first ro⛄und iꦐn Bahrain.”

Smolyar is MP Motorsport’s first signing for the new season ﷽which gets underway at the Bahrain International Circuit on March 18.
