Will Power finished down in 19th in the sole-surviving Penske at the Indy 500. It's been a week to forget for Roger Pensk♉e's squad.

Pato O'Ward finished fourth just outside the podium spots in fourth place. His hunt for a mai🌌den victory in the Indy 500 continues.

Marcus Ericsson came really close to winning the Indy 500 for a second time. A late caution put paid to any chances of pulling ﷺoff a last-gasp move on Alex Palou. 

This is the s🗹econd career podium for David Malukas, who previously finished third at Gatwick in 2023 while driving foꦐr Dale Coyne Racing.

Alex Palou has now five out of the first six races of the year. And having finally clinched that elusive first career winꦛ on an oval, he now has to be counted among the greatest IndyCar drivers of all time.

Alex Palou's victory was guaranteed after the caution flew midway through the final l🌞ap foll🌠owing a crash for a backmarker.

Alex Palou is close to scoring his first win on an oval, but♔ Marcus Ericsson won't make that easy for him.

As expected, the Indy 500 is going down the wire. Alex Palou may have taken the lead, but Marcus Ericsson is right on his tail. David Maluk💝as and Pato O'Ward are not too far behind.

Pato O'Ward is back in the fight for vict🎐ory. He has recovered to fourth place, right behind David Malukas.

Marcus 𝐆Ericsson's strategy has paid off. He delayed his pitstop till lap 175 and has now taken the overall lead.

Ryan Hunter-Reay's troubles h🦹ave prompted David Malukas to the race lead. Alex Palou is running right behind him in second. 

It'ꦓs important to note that Malukas pitted two laps after P💯alou.

The fuel-saving done by Palou and Ferrucci have paid off. They should be able to get to the 💯finish now.

Conor Daly dropped from second to fifth and has to make an early pitstop to get rid of his worn tyres. He will have to make a spla�♎�sh to get to the finish now, unless there is a caution.

Ryan Hunter-R𓃲eay is looking in good shape with 40 laps to run. He may be off-strategy, but he just needs just one more pitstop to get to the finish. If there is no caution period from now, he might score his second Indy 500 win today.

 Strategy, as always, will play a major role in dec🌺iding the winner of the Indy 500.

Josef Newgarden has officially retired from the race, which means all of Penske's hopes now lie on Will Power, who is r♒unning 18th at the mome꧃nt.

Alex Palou took over the net lead after the lat🐼est round of pitstops, but Conor Daly repassed him on track to reinstate the status quo.
