Mark Blundell has appare🅷ntly escaped serious injury after crashing out of the Nazareth CART rꦅound.

The Englishman collided with Penske's Helio Castro-Neves in Turn One of th🗹e Pennsylvania circuit, scattering bodywork and mechanicals from both cars across a wide section of track. Although Castro-Neves was able to recount his side of the incident to reporters in the pits, Blundell had to be helped from his PacWest-run car, and was taken to the circuit's medical centre.

Thankfully, the official CART Radio Network broadcast from Naza𒈔reth has reported that 🗹Blundell escaped the impact with heavy bruising to his upper back, and should be released from the hospital before the end of the race.
