G-Drive Racing and TDS Racing have confirmed their appeal against their disqualificiation from the 24 Hours of Le Mans over a technical irregularity, with the results of the rac💛e remaining provisional.

The #2♈6 Oreca 07 Gibson entered by G-Drive took a dominant victory in the LMP2 class at Le Mans last weekend, leading aওll but 10 laps of the race and finishing two laps clear of the field, while TDS Racing's #28 Oreca finished third in class.

However, both cars were disqual🎶ified on the Monday after the race following a scrutineering check that found an adjusted part had been used to measure the fuel flow in the refuelling rig that was not permitted by the regulations.

G-Drive's Jean-Eric Veไrgne confirmed post-race that the team intended to appeal the decision, with official confirmation following on Thursday from both teams in a joint statement.

"#26 G-Drive Racing and #28 TDS Racing have decided to appeal the dღecisions of the stewards pronounced last Monday after the 24 Hours of Le Mans in front of the FIA Inteꦗrnational Court of Appeal," the statement reads.

"Both teams consider having ꧅at all times respected the applicable regulations 🐈and have been truly disappointed by the Stewards decision.

"They 💧now wish to bring forward their arguments in front of the high🍰est FIA Court. No further comment will be issued until the procedure is over."

As per the provis🦄ional results with both cars disqualified, class victory instead goes to the #36 Signatech Alpine Matmut Alpine A470 Gibson entry, with the #39 SO24-Graff car second ahead of United Autosport's #32 Ligier JS P217 Gibson.
