Moto2 attracts 47 applications.

IRTA has received valid applications from no less than 47 teams, requesting entries for a total of 91 riders, in next year's inaugural Moto2 World Championship.

IRTA has received valid applications from no less than 47 teams, requesting entries for🌠 a total of 91 riders, in next year's inaugural Moto2 World Championship.

M൩oto2 will feature 600cc four-stroke machines, powered by identical Honda engines but featuring different chassis designs. For 2010, e🐻xisting 250cc two-stroke motorcycles will also be allowed to race.

However, all of the applicants, with the exceptio🏅n of one team with two riders, have requested to participate with Moto2 machines.

It is believed that the applications include requ🌳es🦋ts by all of the satellite MotoGP teams.

The regular selection Committee composed of representatives of FIM, Dorna 🌠and IRTA will meet at the f🦩orthcoming Catalan Grand Prix to establish the provisional Moto2-250cc entry list for 2010.
