Faubel began the season alongside 𒁏countryman Alberto Moncayo, who was replaced by Folger from Indianapolis.

Grand prix rooki💛e Luca Amato, a frontrunner in the Spanish CEV Moto3 championship, is reported to be taking Faubel's place for the remaining five rounds, creating an all-German Aspar Moto3 line-up.
