- Former MotoGP rider Anthony West slams the FIM and accuses the governing body of corruption and working directly against him. Following his second anti🐼-doping ban, West moved into the non-FIM affiliated Brazilian championship but has been subsequently punished again for competing during his ban. West also accuses the FIM of turning a blind eye to help both Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi.
- HRC is considering not renewing its title sponsorship with Repsol at the end of 2020. The Spanish oil company has been the main sponsor of the factory Honda MotoGP team for 26 years, but Honda is assessing a new partnership with Shell or Rꦍed Bull.
