MotoGP Grand Prix of Finland postponed until 2023 due to homologation

“Homologation works at the KymiRing, together with the risks caused by the ongoing geopoꩲlitical situation in the region, have sadly obliged the cancellation of the Finnish Grand Prix in 2022,” a statement from MotoGP read.
“The curren𓂃ဣt circumstances have created delays and put the ongoing work at the new circuit at risk.
“All parties have therefore agreed that the track’s debut must be postponed to 2023, when MotoGP looks for﷽ward to returning to Finland for the first time in four decades.”
The 2022 MotoGP season will now be just 20 races.

Alex Rins said after the Le Man𝕴s meeting of the Safety Commission: “We talked a little about Finland... Theoretically we will go, the track is done.
“Some riders are worried because the track is so small. Some guys are saying tha𓆉t it's only firꦐst, second, third gear. But it’s the same for everybody.”
