“Yeah, I know where I lost the time. I 🅠saw 𝔉the videos, I saw the data and also my feeling is [that it is] in corner entry. My entry speed is very very low at the moment. It's difficult for me to turn.

“On braking, we have improved a lot and ꧑we are very close - also sometimes we are better compared to the other [KTMs], like in the first and last sector.

“Bu👍t in Sectors 2 and 3, especially 3ꦑ, we lost too much!”

Bastianini’s 🤪best Sepang lap time was 1.5s behind test leader Alex Marquez, 0.876s from the top KTM of Pedro Acosta (6th) but only 0.146s b꧅ehind new Tech3 team-mate Maverick Vinales (16th).
