A Lorenzo corner? Catalunya - but not the last turn!

Following the naming of turn three at Phillip♑ I꧂sland in honour of local star Casey Stoner, MotoGP title leader Jorge Lorenzo was asked which corner he would like for a similar tribute when he retires.
The Factory Yamaha star replied that ideally the circuit would be Cata𒉰lunya, near where he now lives.
And the corner?
"The last one, for sure not!" smiled Lorenzo, nodding towaꦏrds Valentino Rossi. "I don't have great memories!"
Lorenzo famously lost the 2009 Catalan Grand Prix when he was overtaken at෴ the final turn of the race by team-mate Rossi (pictured).
Countryman and title rival Dani Pedrosa said somewhere at a race track in Spain, maybe Jerez, with Rossi selecting Casanova🐼-Savelli at Mugello in Italy.

Peter has been💛 in the paddock for 20 years and has seen Valentino Rossi come and go. He is at the forefront of the Suzuki exit story and Marc Marquez’s injury issues.
