Queen's Birthday Honour for Casey Stoner
Former double MotoGP world 🗹champion Casey Stoner has been appointed a 'Memb💟er of the Order of Australia (AM)' in the Queen's Birthday honours.
The Australian, who retired from MotoGP at th🦩e end of last season, received the honour "For significant service to motorcycle racing".
Stoner was a full time grand prix rider from 2002-2012, claiming 38💦 of his 45 victories in the premier MotoGP class, where he won world titles for Ducati (2007) and Honda (2011).
The 27-year-old has🎉 now turned his atte💃ntion to V8 touring car racing.
