Smith meanwhile has moved into contention for the 2019 Aprilia test and wild-card deal, after Redding's harsh words about his team and machi🎐ne at the Austrian MotoGP.
KTM is also searching for another test rider but is not keen on offering wild-card rides, prompting Smith to confirm he will noജt be involved with the factory at all next season. Folger an🐈d Dani Pedrosa have also been linked to the second KTM test seat.
