Maverick Vinales has issued an update on his condition following an overnight stay in hospital 💜a𒁃fter a motocross training accident.
Last Thursday the Monster Energy Yamaha team confirmed the 25-year-old suffered an injury during a motocross training🅘 session and spent a night in hospital as a precaution.
Since being released from hospitꦓal Vinales has given a short video update on his condition and says he has been given two weeks to fully recover, without specifying the deta🔜ils of his injury, but he did avoid any fractures or breaks.

“Hi guys, I am back home, luckily I am ok, now I will have two full weeks of recಌovery so I will keep you updated. Thank you for the mes♉sages and for all the support,” Vinales said his update message on Twitter.
With the start of the 2020 MotoGP world championship delayed by the series of postponed rounds following the coronavirus outbreak, thꦡe majority of premier class riders have been keeping fit and busy t♔raining on motocross bikes and bicycles.
Vinales, who spent part of his pre-seaso♏n preparations training at Qatar’s Aspire facilities, has returned to his native Spain during the delays to the start of the 2020 season and has frequently posted images of him motocross training.
Given the 2020 opening round is currently scheduled for the Spanish MotoGP at Jerez on May 1-3, Vinales will comfortably recover bef🤪ore the official start of the premier class season꧃.

The Thailand, United States and Argentina rounds have all been postponed until later in the year following travel bans amid the coronavirus outbreak. Both Italy and Spain are enduring widespread lockdowns to restrict the spread of COVID-19, wit꧋h ove🎉r 157,000 cases and 5,845 deaths reported globally amid the pandemic.
The delays to the start of the season also give Marc Marquez, Takaaki Nakagam♔i and Miguel Oliveira ample time to fully recover from their respective shoulder operations when previously they had been facing a race against time to be fit for the initial opening round in Qatar.
