Termas will do 'everything possible' to hold Argentina MotoGP after major fire
Argentina's Termas de Rio Hondo circuit director Héctor Farina says "we will do every﷽thing possible to comply with the calendars we have planned, including MotoGP in November" after a major fire destroyed an estimated 80% of the paddock over the weekend.

Argentina's Termas de Rio Hondo circuit director Héctor Farina says "we will do everything possible to ღcomply with the calendars we have planned, including MotoGP in November" after a major fire destroyed an estimated 80% of the paddock over the weekend.
The pit buildings, including media room, control rooms and VI♏P lounges, sufferedꦐ the brunt of the damage, although firefighters were able save the circuit's international museum (featuring historic cars and motorcycles), control tower and medical centre.
No serious injuries h෴ave been reported and the museum is due to re-open to🎃morrow (Tuesday).
The cause of the fire, which began late on Friday night and spread rapidly due to ⛄strong winds, is still to be confirmed, but there is specuꦓlation it could have been related to welding work.
The circuit is said to have full fire i🦋nsurance, but the extent of th🐷e damage casts even further doubt on this year's Argentine MotoGP event.
Last season's grand prix was among those cancelled due to the coron༒avirus and the 2021 edition has already been 'postponed' from April, alongside the US round in Austin.
After a 15-year abse🎃nce, Argentina returned to the calendar with a debut at the then freshly built Termas ci𝓡rcuit in 2014.
Marc Marquez (Honda) has won the race three times, with a victory each for Valentino Rossi (Yamaha), Maverick Vinales (Yamaha) and Cal Crutch✨low (LCR Honda).
