Jerez plays host to this weekend’s round four of the MotoG꧋P World Championship, but for Alex Rins, it means a chance to be 100% fit unlike last year in Andalusi🔥a.

Rins missed the season opener in 2020 aft🍷er suffering a dislocation-fracture in his right shoulder during qualifying, and although he competed a week later, this will be an opportunity to regain the form around Jerez that he showed in Portimao ten days ago, but also in 2019 when he finished second in the race to Marc Marquez.

From a speed point of view and not a res🐼ults one, the Portuguese Grand Prix last time out was the Suzuki rider's best race of the year, before he crashed whilst attempting to keep pace with the eventual race winner Fabio Qua𓃲rtararo.

Rins demonstrated his and the GSR-RR bike’s potential as he was the only rider abl♓e to challenge the Frenchman, but tucked the front at turn five.

"I’m confiꦕdent with the way the bike is working at the moment, and this is a circuit that I like a lot.

"For sure it will be a very intense weekend with a 𝓰lot of riders being very competitive, but I’m excited to put any bad memories behind me and get a great result."

Rꦍins heads into Sunday’s race currently♍ seventh in the championship - 38 points down on Yamaha’s Quartararo.
