Ahead of this Sunday's inaug🦄ural MotoGP Virtual Race, it has been announced that a second event is al🐬ready planned for Sunday, April 12.

This opening digital race, arranged to help fill the void in MotoGP activity caused by the coronavirus, will see ten riders (below) do battle over six-laps of Italy's ౠMugello circuit on the official MotoGP19 viꦅdeogame:

Repsol Honda Team: Marc Marquez, Alex Marquez

Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP: Maverick Viñales

Aprilia Racing Team Gresini: Aleix Espargaro

Team Suzuki Ecstar: Alex Rins, Joan Mir

Petronas Yamaha SRT: Fabio Quartararo

Red Bull KTM Tech 3: Iker Lecuona, Miguel Oliveira

Pramac Racing: Francesco Bagnaia

Qualifying will be held just befor👍e the race, which is due to be broadcast online and by a number of TV networks.

The racetrack and rider line-up for 'Virtual Race 2' is still to be confirmed, but Dorna is promising some of the Racꦆe 1 grid will return for round two, with 'fresh faces from the likes of the Ducati Team and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing also slated to take part'.

Real MotoGP racing is not currently set to begin until May 17 at Le Mans, although the French Grand Prix is 🌳already in talks about delaying until June.
