Johann Zarco singled out Honda’s new carbon fibre swingarm as offering a clear step forward during his debut on the prototype p꧑art in Monday’s Aragon tes𒉰t.

HRC test rider Alei🦹x Espargaro, who has helped develop the composite swingarm behind closed doors, signalled the part was ready for the race riders during a wild-card ꦚappearance at the previous Silverstone round.

Zarco and Joan Mir duly got 🔴their chance to try it at the official test.

“Many laps today,” said 168澳洲5最新开奖结果:Johann Zarco, who was 17th fastest.♌ “I was not able to do big s🅠tep in lap time, but that was not the target. The target was to try all these things.

“The biggest thing we have tried is the carbon swingarm, which was very interesting. We got a better perfoꦬrmance with it. Now ꧃we will have to wait a bit to get it on the bike [in a race weekend].”

Pressed on if he was happy with the test, after a tough race weekend🐭, the Frenchman replied:

“Yeah, for example this swingarm… ‘wow’, that was the thing working the ༺best. So I'm happy that this big part of thღe bike, where sometimes the comments of the rider is not huge, for me it was nice. So this was good.

“We gained a lot in acceleration, but also on the braking, we have betterಌ control of the rear grip. Immediately, the lap time was better.”

The only bad news is the timeframe♊ needed to create enough carbon ღfibre swingarms.

“I think it will be for the overseas ra🅺ces. So I need to wait a bit,🌳” he said.

Meanwhile, Zarco was 🉐coyer on the other, less꧑ visible RC213V developments.

“Then we have tested things t🃏hat we have tested already in Jerez, but it's very technical things on the bik🧸e.

“It's so♏mething that Hondaꦡ is developing which I think can open some new doors that I hope will give us advantage for next year.”
