Phase One Yamaha confirms Ben Wylie for roads campaign
The Phase One team has confirmed Ben🎃 Wylie, the top newcomer at the 2009 TT, will join Carl Rennie for🗹 this year.
After impressing on his debut on the Mountain Circuit, Wylie will ri🎶de the Yamaha Supersport and Superbike machines at 🔴both the Isle of Man TT and North West 200 in 2010.
His performances at the 2009 TT, in the Supersport and Superstock classes, saw him end the festival as top n🤪ewcomer. In 2010, he will campaign in the Superbike and Senior TT races for the first𝄹 time.
Phase One Manager Russell Benney said:
"Ever since working with Beౠn in the Shell Endurance Acౠademy Team in 2005, I have been impressed with his determination and grit. My challenge will be to help him channel that enthusiasm and to focus it on race success."
"Some of the skills he learnt in World Endurance will be drawn on this season. To be safe and competitive on the roads, he is going to need the ability to maintain extremely high levels of concentration for long periods; just ℱlike in the Le Mans 24 hours race."
