Andrews suffers multiple injuries in Le Mans crash

Honda TT Legends rider Simon Andrews suffers leg, arm, shoulder, rib and back injuries in a multi-bike accident during the Le Mans 24 Hours race.

Honda TT Legends has been forced to withdraw 🍨from the Le Mans 24 Hours after its rider Simon Andrews suffered multiple injuries in a four-bike accident.

The former British Superbike Championship front runner was in the midst of his stint during the sixth hour of the race when 🐻he got involved in an accid🧜ent whilst running in third position.

Though conscious and coherent following the accident, Andrews was taken to hospital where he has since been diagnosed with two broken legs, a broken forearm and shoulder, broken ribs causing a punctured lung and three broken vertebrae in his lower back.

A𒆙ndrews is currently in surgery for an operation to his♈ leg and further updates will be provided as and when they are available.
