Ian Hutchinson secures Synetiq BMW road racing deal

Ian Hutchinson will return to the TAS ꦐRacing fold when road racing starts up against after inking a deal to ride the Synetiq BMW.
The Yorkshire rider is one of the most successful riders to have ever competed at the Isle ﷽of Man TT, notching up 16 vicꦫtories on the Mountain Course, including a famous sweep of five solo wins back in 2010 with Honda.
Since then Hutchinson’s career has been beset by a series of injuries, most notably a serious leg break during a British Supersport round♋ just mont🐬hs after his success on the 2010 TT, but won the Superbike race in 2017 while racing for TAS (formerly known as Tyco BMW).
Though the 2020 road racing schedule remains unclear after the blue riband Isle of Man TT was cancelled and t𝄹he North West 200 among others was postponed, Hutchinson says h🔯e will be ready to hit the ground running the Synetiq BMW when he is able to do so
“Putting this deal together with Philip and Synetiq BMW to do theജ International Road Races is perfect for me really, I was secretly hoping that would be the case all🐼 winter if I’m honest.
“I had great success and a lot of🐎 fun the last time I rode the S1000RR for TAS Racing and h🥀aving prepared so well in January and February I’m ready to race when all this lockdown is over.”
Hutchinson is also set to compete in the National Superstock 10🐈00 Championship aboard a BMW in a team set up between himself and Shaun Muir Racing, which runs the manufacturer’s factory Wo🦋rldSBK effort.
Synetiq BMW will run Taylor Mackenzie and Bradley Ray in t🔥he 2020 British Superbike Championship.
