Peterborough, along with Poole, Coventry and Sheffield, has been pencilled in to stage the qualifying rounds o♐f the competition, which starts on Sunday, August 4, with the showpiece final expected to be held at Peterbor♏ough on Saturday, August 10.

Peterb𝔉orough co-promote꧒r Ian Jarvis said: "It would be a huge honour to stage such a fantastic event. We were all out in Poland to see this year's World Team Cup and it's certain to be another wonderful spectacle when it comes to Great Britain.

"We now have one of the most exciting race tracks in the world, the feedback from fans and riders this season has been fantastic. It would c🦩ertainly be a track worthy of staging such a huge event.

"But we don't ꧑want to say any more until talks 🎉with the Showground are complete, it would not be fair on them to comment any further."
