Fernando Alonso steps up Le Mans preparation with 3-day Toyota LMP1 test

Fernando Alonso stepped up 🦩his preparations for his 24 Hours of Le Mans entry and FIA World Endurance Championship debut later this year by taking part in a private three-day test for Toyota at Motorland Aragon earlier this week.

Two-time Formula 1 world champion Alonso made his sports car racing debut last weekཧend in the Rolex 24 at Daytona, before announcing on Tuesday he would j💧oin up with Toyota for Le Mans and three further WEC races through 2018 alongside his McLaren commitments.

Two-time Formula 🦩1 world champion Alonso made his sports car racing debut last weekend in the Rolex 24 at Daytona, befo🦄re announcing on Tuesday he would join up with Toyota for Le Mans and three further WEC races through 2018 alongside his McLaren commitments.

Toyota held a three-day test at Motorland Aragജon in Spain this week that featured Alonso, regular season drivers Jose Maria Lopez, Mike Conway, Kazuki Nakajima and Kamui Kobayashi, as well as reserve driver Anthony Davidson.

Sebastien Buemi was the 🧸only driv🍃er not present for the test following the birth of his second child.

A Toyota Gazoo Racing spokesperson confirmed to wuqian0821.com that the🅠 running also included an endurance test that ran through the night, with running going "well wit🎃h no issues".

Toyota will return to the WEC for the 2018/19 'super season' despite the departure of rival manufacturer Porsche, fielding a pa🍌ir of TS♊050 Hybrid LMP1 cars.

Alonso will make his official Tꩲoyota debut in the WEC at the 6 Hours ꩲof Spa in May.
