IMSA champion Nielson seals 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans drive

Two-ti🔥me defending IMSA champion Christina Nielson will contest the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans in a Porsche GTE with 🎉Italian squad Ebimotors.

Nielson, who became the first ever female Danish driver to compete at L♒e Mans in 2016 with Ferrari, will make her third straight appearance at the Circuit de la Sarthe in a GTE Am Porsche 911 RSR alongside 2001 ♛24 Hours of Le Mans GT class winner Fabio Babini and a yet-to-be-announced third driver.

Two-time defending IMSA champion Christina Nielson will contest the 2018 24 Ho🍷urs of Le Mans in a Porsche GTE with Italian squ🔯ad Ebimotors.

Niel🦩son, who became the first ever female Danish driver to comp♓ete at Le Mans in 2016 with Ferrari, will make her third straight appearance at the Circuit de la Sarthe in a GTE Am Porsche 911 RSR alongside 2001 24 Hours of Le Mans GT class winner Fabio Babini and a yet-to-be-announced third driver. 

“I’m super happy to go back to Le Mans,” Nielsen said. “It’s one of those races that a driver dreams about🐻 doing at least once in their lifetime. Being able to say, at the age of 26, that I’m going to my third Le Mans is 💦definitely pretty amazing.

“I’m excited to compete with the current mid-engi﷽ne Porsche 911 RSR -☂ that’s a first for me and definitely one of the biggest wishes that will come true.”

The 26-year-old is part ofꩵ Porsche Motorsport’s new programme where s🦹he is a ‘Selected Driver’ representing North America and the first woman in Porsche’s history to be officially associated with the factory racing programme.
