Jean-Eric Vergne extends G-Drive Racing contract for 2019
Jean-Eric Vergne will continue to race with G-Drive Racing in the LMP2 class 💦of sports car racing in 2019 after agreeing a new contract last week.
Reignin🐟g Formula E champion Vergne linked up with G-Drive in sports cars for 2018, and went unbeaten on-track with the team until September, taking ELMS wins at Monza, Spielberg and Silverstone, as well as a WEC win at Spa༺.

Jean-Eric Vergne will continue to race with G-Drive Racing in the LMP2 class of sports car racing in 🌠2019 after agreeing a new contract last week.
Reigning Formula E champion Vergne li✱nked up with G-Drive in sports cars for 2018, and went unbeaten on-track with the team until September, taking ELMS 🔴wins at Monza, Spielberg and Silverstone, as well as a WEC win at Spa.
Vergne also initially won the 🤡LMP2 class race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans alongside Roman Rusino𝔉v and Antonio Pizzitola, only for the #26 Oreca 07 Gibson, only for the car to be disqualified over a fuel infringement.
Alongside his commitments in Formula E with DS Techeetah, Vergne confirmed last week he would be continuing to race with G-Drive in 2019,🥃 signing up for a full season in E﷽LMS.
The team confirmed via Facebook that Vergne would share the car with Rusinov once again, with a th𒀰ird driver set to be confirmed at a later date.
G-Drive Racing is꧒ yet to finalise its racing plans for 2019, but should it opt to return to ELMS, Vergne would be available for a🍬ll but two races on the schedule, with the races at Paul Ricard and Monza taking place on Formula E weekends.
