Lee Holdsworth was left battered and bruised, but escaped serious injury, after a high speed incident 🧔during the second race of the V8 Supercar Championship meeting at Winton Raceway.
The Gary Rogers Motorsport driver went off the track into the barriers backwards in the incident, suffering whiplash, and was transported to Wangarratta Hospital for mandatory scans. Although unable to take part in the third race of the weekend, the 24-year-old was cleared of any injury and a🌠llowed home just a few hours after the accident.

"It was a big crash in difficult conditions," V8 Supercars Australia CEO Wayne Cattach said. "These cars are extremely well engineered and it is testimony to this engineering that Lꦉee has been able to come away from this with no injuries. We are very relieved that Lee has no injuries."
